What are the risks to not only the Minneapolis area but also to the region (Duluth, North Dakota) with this network environment? This session will incorporate a picture of the current hotel risks with a discussion on alternatives that are in development.

Kris joined DataBank with over 30 years of experience in the Twin Cities technology sector specializing in data center resiliency planning and high-availability infrastructure design. She also brings a very high-level of conceptual and strategic understanding in the business aspects of IT and its drivers. Through her work with both Sungard and IBM, Kris developed deep roots in operations management and ITIL which she now leverages in her role at DataBank. Kris is an active member in several technology groups including BCPA where she assisted in the founding of the independent organization and served on the Board of Directors.
Mark Feil - Independent Consultant of DataBank, Ltd.
Mark is an accomplished IT professional with over 30 years' experience in the telecommunications industry and is known as an executive-level leader in technology management and disaster recovery planning. In his previous work, Mark was Co-founder and President of WanConnex, LLC, a technology firm specializing in wide area networking, 802.11 wireless, and disaster planning. He recently led the national Data Center and Cloud product solutions teams for XO. Mark is currently working as a management consultant with CO2 Partners, one to the most sought after consulting and executive coaching organizations in America.
