Description:  Please join the BCPA on a Cologix sponsored tour of the 511 Building Telecom Hotel in downtown Minneapolis.  The 511 Building is considered the most wired building in Minnesota and a major source of fiber optic data transmission and reception.  The Cologix guided tour and presentation will walk you through the state-of-the-art, carrier neutral data center building and provide the history and importance of the building to the Minneapolis region.

Schedule:
·         1:00PM – 1:30PM - Visitor Registration – Government issue photo ID required!
·         1:30PM – 3:30PM - Tour / Presentation
 
Amenities:  Cologix will provide snacks/drinks and PAY for your parking.

Directions: The building parking lot entrance is located on South 6th Street
·         Go East on South 6th Street past the New Vikings stadium site.
·         Just past the intersection of South 6th Street & 11th Avenue South is the entrance to The 511 parking lot.
·         Turn left into the lot and take a parking ticket at the gate.
·         Bring your ticket to the front desk (Cologix will pay for your parking).
·         You will need to show a government issued photo ID at the reception desk for registration.
