Presentation Title:

Advancing Business Impact Analysis

Presentation Description

Presentation description:  During this session, participants will discuss traditional hazard risks analysis tools. An examination of the strengths and weaknesses of these tools will be assessed. After which, participants will be introduced to the resiliency-based Small-to-Medium Enterprise Hazard Risk Analysis model.  We will discuss how this assessment will help increase the overall effectiveness of BC programs. Professor Haynes will use his experiences with HRAs and walk participants through real-world examples. This is a session aimed at individuals looking to improve their BIA tools and BC programs. All participants will walk away with a better understanding of the methodological flaws of traditional planning, and ways to improve resilience through adaptive performance and capacity building.
